thenameisthesame asked: I know this question sounds strange, but could a company theoretically repurchase all of its common stock? If so, would the company own itself? What would be the implications of this? I’m thinking that this would never be possible because 1.) the shareholders would probably never allow it and 2.) as the company repurchased more shares, the share price would increase making it more difficult for the company to repurchase the shares
I know that companies buy back their stock all the time. However, my question is whether or not a company could buy back ALL of its outstanding shares.

Its just a shoe cleaning service, but I am looking for an ownership from stocks, which will probably pay for the capital, and just be the manager of it. Many people want to be owners of this company, so how should I make the IPO?

liddabet asked: There are a few private companies I’m following and hoping to invest in. Short of reading the news every single day - is there some way to be notified when the IPO is about to happen? I have no big player - best customer pull. We’re talking a few grand or so that I’m able to invest.
